Why would you want to export your car? Are you moving to Canada, or are you selling your car to someone in Canada?

If you are moving to Canada, you'll need to check with the Canada Border Services Agency. There is some paperwork that you will need to file. Also, you will need to contact the ministry of transportation for the province where you are shipping the car to. You will need to register the car with them, and pay any applicable licencing fees.

The border servicesURL is: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/

the ministry of transportation for Ontario's URL is: http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/

If you are selling the car to someone in Canada, then they should be responsible for all of the paperwork

Talk to the DMV in your state and also Canada. If you're driving it up, make sure all your paperwork is faxed to the boarder patrol on the US and Canadian side.
