A salicylic acid wash has been working well for me lately. Since I'm getting older, I want to use an anti-wrinkle moisturizer also. Will I be defeating my purpose since the salicylic acid works by drying the skin?

Salicyclic acid actually doesn't dry out the skin. It treats acne by causing skin cells to slough off more readily, preventing pores from clogging up. So, you definitely can use a moisturizer with the wash.

I am 26 and have been using a cleanser with salicylic acid since I was in my early teens. I started using a moisturizer with SPF 15 daily when I 19 because my mom got skin cancer. It does not defeat the purpose. It was advised by my mom's dermatologist. The moisturizer I use is Purpose. You can get at Walmart or most major pharmacys.
