i was planning on asking this guy to my prom. but i was talking to him and he mentioned that he was having some issues with this one girl he met at a party over the weekend. what a buzzkill. but after i asked him advice on if i should ask a guy who may like someone else, at first, he said go for it even he might like this other girl. he said that i am a smart, well spoken and pretty girl. but as i dropped more and more hints he finally realized it was him but we never really verbalized it. we talked until 1:40 AM. at the end of the convo he told me that he was really glad we talked and that i should still ask "that guy". it was a really good convo, should i still ask him on friday?

he was asking me if i wanted to go with this guy to just have a date or because i legitally like this guy. i chose the latter.
he then told me that this guy must be a stud.
i told him that he was "ight". he thought that was really funny.
