I LOVE George Carlin. He's one of my heroes. This is one of my favorites:
Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time!
But He loves you.

George Carlin grow to be maximum truthfully an atheist in the classic experience of the observe in that he did no longer have self assurance in God. i've got seen maximum if no longer all of his arise acts. He has suggested on quite a few events that he would not have self assurance in God. He expressed explicitly anti-religious sentiments (besides as anti-corporation). He recognized on television in a comedy skit referred to as "Touched by utilising an atheist", i think of you will locate it on youtube.
