Human nature exploits the religous writings and makes it what they wish. That is why it is so important to learn, read and apply what is truly meant in the Scriptures and not follow a person who has made up his/her own idea of what it is. Make it your own.

I think the latter. Someone once told me, 'Positive thinking is one of the most stressful things a person can do.' I think this is where Christians get the thought that the devil is after them once they find religion, and life becomes harder. Try doing any positive program to improve yourself which you believe will work and see how much you struggle in a similar way to what Christians describe.

It's human nature to resist some way of thinking that is for the best, maybe because if we don't have so many challenges life becomes boring and pointless. Who knows.

Religion controls the masses and masses bring control to economies that have benefited from control. Through theses patterns humankind has strayed from the true intention of Creator's purpose for his family. The nature of human controversy is what it is and the parables of religion doesn't fit the nature of the human existence with Creator's ways that was to involve a full circle journey seeking the path to where one began not the worship of man made illusions that lead no where within the truth of religion.

Almost every religion was started by people. Some needed violence to convert more people. Some of those are still doing that today. Others just turn their head and ignore what is happening so as not to loose popularity or to stay politically correct.

Only God is good. Only God is holy. Only thru the blood shed by Christ can our sins be cleansed so that we can enter into Gods presence. In the end... only that matters.

Some religions help to instigate it, (not all) but mostly I think it's human nature to protect what they believe in.

Human nature exploits religion, definitely. Why do you think there are so many branches of a specific religion? Why do you think there are so many religions, period? GB:)
