Not a book, a movie. Saving Private Ryan. Because once I saw, not with my eyes, but with my heart, the subtext, I saw a man. A good man, a man who wanted nothing more than to go home, to his wife. And if it took risking his life for the son of a stranger, then so be it. That was his path. Going home, as he said, was his 'reward'. I found it an incredibly inspiring story of courage and love.

I have a religion and i dont force anyone to follow, many things outside my religion has inspired me including books, movies, listening to conversations ect. i believe when your heart is looking for peace and you are searching for a right way of living you will find anything that leads to truth will inspire you.

Gods word is the bible. But Foxe's Book Of Mayrtrs is very good at finding out what happens to the apostles and history after the bible.

i don't really have a religion... but the book called "many lives, many masters" by brian weiss, and anything by starhawk have been influential.
