You're right to think it's Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa in Welsh). On the summit is a triangulation station or trig point - a device used in surveying, the bench mark on the trig point is 1085.8 metres above sea level (3561 feet).
Ouitside the Scottish Highlands Snowdon is the highest point in the UK and if you're planning to visit the summit there's a mountain railway that runs almost all the way to the top (summertime only) or you can get off at one of the stations part way up and walk the rest of the way on a very easy and obvious path.
