Where in the Bible does it say that people die and become angels? Wouldn't that be blaming God for their death? Don't the religious leaders believe with the Bible says - that God is Omnipotent??? If he is all-powerful, why would he need mere humans to help him? It doesn't make sense. God is complete within himself. He allows us to have a relationship with him out of love. Nothing else.

I didn't say that I believe that people become angels. But obviously, some people are spreading that lie. It's a lie and people should stop spreading lies.

The bible does not say so and what is not sciptural should not be taught. God said do not add to His word nor take away from it. It's blasphemous.

It's a popular cliche, but church leaders know - at least in the Catholic Church - that angels are a completely different kind of being from humans, and that humans do not become angels. Angels were created as angels. Humans were created as humans, and will be human for all eternity.

Incidentally, you cannot "blame" God for anyone's death. "Blame" implies some wrongdoing. Since God has absolute authority over life and death, He can decide that someone will die at a given time, and there is no wrongdoing involved.

ye, i agree, angels are seperate beings. I mean, just like angels cant suddenly become humans (altho they may take on human form), so we cant just become angels.

I think it came from when ppl werent able to read the Bible themselve because they were not educated enough and were just told about angels but the preist (or who ever) and so had their own theories on them.

These days, most ppl know that angels are not humans who died and went to heaven. But some still do and just need to be told that this isnt the case and need to be shown in the Bible. Thats all.

The bible says we will be "like" the angels, not angels. Im thinking that means we can appear and re appear and be able to travel to earth and the New Jerusalem (heaven) freely. It also means out bodies are not made just for earth but new bodies for eternity purposes

Matt 22:30 says that in the resurrection men become like the angels. but what it does not say is that angels are the sons of god and what do the sons of god grow up to be?
Luke 20:36 also confirms this
but the ones i like are in rev 3:21 and 21:7

I agree with you. Hearing people say that is one of my greatest pet peeves. I always wonder if they've ever actually read the Bible. It's not just religious 'leaders' either. I hear "Christians ?" say it all the time, especially when a loved one dies. Completely unscriptural.

Good observation. When we die we do not become angels. Angels are different from us.

It does not say anywhere in the bible that people become angels.

But, I agree with the rest of your post.
