Not everybody feels the way that guy does. I have friends that I think are cute but I don't go around kissing them. Sex should be the last thing on your mind. And it sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders. You aren't weird for the way you feel. I think that is how everybody should feel. However, in this day and age it seems like all anybody wants is sex. I'm 21 years old also and if I had a friend that I liked we might start a relationship but if they didn't want to it would end there.

Oh, don't worry! That guy was definitely just a wierdo! I'm 20 and from America. No, not all friends do that here. Not even most. Sometimes, friends do end up being in a relationship together but that's only natural. Often, when you're friends with someone, love can blossom from friendly affection. That's normal. But no, not everyone kisses their friends or thinks about them sexually! That's just silly!

I have a guy I've been friends with since 1985 - we have never kissed. The guy you were talking to was filling you head full of the way he wishes it was not how it really is over here. Now, if you were dating the guy and he was your boyfriend that would be a totally different story.

honey you are a perfectly normal girl and sounds to me like this guy you were chatting to is the typical horny male. I completely understand what you are talking about. don't let the perverts in this country get to you. when I think about love I don't really associate it with sex. Love is a feeling not just an act. whatever this guy is talking about is not love it's LUST. big difference.

ha ha... if thats wierd then alot of people are hopelessly screwed. If that is not a part of your realtionships then you are doing yourself a favor. That is the kind of thing that causes all kinds of tangled emotions and stress. So just because one guy commented on it don't accept it as true.

Nope your not weird just female. But hear it is more open and sex is always out in the open. That is in the US When I think about love I think of friends, family, My children and what they mean to me. Not about sex. Sex isn't love and a lot of people are not taught that here.

Of course not. You may not be like the majority of the population, but there's nothing wrong with having a working head on your shoulders. Good for you.

You're perfectly fine.

It's the other person who is being rude and VERY immature.

Stay true to yourself.
