Is anyone else tired of the people who ask "I had unprotected sex, could I be pregnant?" or "I took 12 pregnancy tests, they all came back negative, am I pregnant?"

I mean really! Yes, you could be pregnant if you have unprotected sex. And no, I don't know if you are pregnant. See your doctor!!

Anyone else agree?

I agree with you, but the sad thing to me is that people are out there having sex and don't know anything about it.

If you don't know that anytime you have sex you can get pregnant, or you're asking too many questions about sex, you're not ready. Bottom line.

Oh, I totally agree! For them to come online and ask people that question.. as if we're going to know! They're not mature enough to have sex if they don't know the "how's" of getting pregnant, or don't have the guts to check out a pregnancy test first!

OMG I totally freaking agree!!!!! I am sick of hearing these 16 and 17 year old little girls crying about the fact that they acted like idiots, and now they want the reassurance of a stranger. I understand being scared, but what exactly do they expect to hear from us?!

I think that is a little harsh.
If you are trying to conceive you are looking for anyone to give you that little bit of hope that maybe, possibly, you could be pregnant this time, and if you are in the middle of a pregnancy scare you want all the reassurance in the world that it is ok, you aren't going to be heading towards Mothercare any time soon.
In either case a little bit of understanding and empathy is all it takes. If you are fed up of reading and answering these questions then stop reading or answering them, go to a different category where you won't be annoyed by people looking for a little reassurance.

I'm afraid to NOT agree with you! JK...I do agree, but I also know how it feels to take a bunch of pregnancy tests, hoping to be pregnant...sometimes you want reassurance, even if it's only words from a stranger.

I think you're being a little harsh. Being pregnant for the first time can be very confusing and it's completely normal to have a lot of questions. A lot of people don't realize that at home pregnancy tests are not always accurate. Jeez! If the questions bother you so much, just don't click on them! People come on here to get advice, not to be judged.

if you dont want to be pregnant then go to the nearest walk in clinic and ask for the morning after pill!!!

honestly if you think ur pregnant go see a professional no one on the internet is going to fix it for you!

You have obviously never been young and frightened. Just skip those questions. OK, you've never had unprotected sex, but it happens and it can be terrifying to a young girl who knows her parents are going to make her life a living hell. More than wanting "answers" they are looking for support and comfort. Really tragic that they have to resort to posting their questions on an anonymous media like Y!A.
