I am almost 19 and have been dating my boyfriend for 3 years now. I love him to death, and I really think that he is the one for me. There is one drawback however, it seems that in the beginning of our relationship, he tried so hard for me, he did the cute little things that every girl falls in love with. It seems that lately, he doesnt try as hard, and when I tell him that I miss the little things, he gets very upset and says that he is not good enough for me, which is a lie. I just don't know how to make him understand, and how to get him to do the sweet things that i want and miss. please helppp!!!! thank youuu!!!!! =)

Men are stupid creatures sometimes... You really have to tell him exactly how you feel. How those little things make you feel, and how you miss it. Just spell it out for him... make him work harder.
It's also part of growing up unfortunatley... it was cute when u were younger, but now people get bussier, etc etc.
If he still loves you, and things are still working, its all fine... other than that, talk to him :)

Well if he is getting mad at you suggesting that he does the sweet little things that he use to then I say that you should do some serious thinking if this is really the guy for you. Nearly everyone does things when they are first dating that sort of dies down after awhile because they don't have to try as hard to impress that person anymore and the way that they feel for the person isn't that "butterflies in the stomach" anymore.
If you really love this person and want to work with him then I would say stop trying to get him to do the little things for you and your start doing little things for him and maybe he will get a "monkey see monkey "do attitude. If he loves you then he will feel bad about you always giving him little gifts and planning supprise outings or suggesting you go to the movies and you pay (sometimes), or out to dinner. If you do this for a little while, for a couple of months at least, and he still does not start to get back into the romantic first love treatment then honey he never will. Please don't marry him later on because he will be showing you what the rest of your lives together would be like and that is miserable.

... i completely understand. the only problem is that i dont know how to help you with this. ... sometimes, the little things fade when you start knowing more about a person. the little romantic, cute stuff was there to impress you and now he feels there's no need to impress you.
... im sorry i cant help much with this... best advice though... dont tell him about it anymore, he'll just get more upset with you each time.
