We plant the seeds, we till the fields, we raise the chicken, we cook the food, we go to work to earn the money.

If we are sick it is either because of our bad dietary habits, poor decisions (either ours or someone else's) or genetics (which is random anyway).

Where does God come into this equation?

What do we thank God for?

'And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the Lord your God, and follow other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish." Deut. 8:18-19

If God did nothing more than to withhold rain from us, all those things YOU do, would not even be possible. Without God, there is no equation. We should thank God for EVERYTHING.

what a complicated question...hmm lets see if i can explain this right

it is free will to a point but God gave the power to do all that...after giving the power he foresees everything & is there for people when they need them (giving them strength, love, hope...)
he also creates the weather & environment:
-rain
-the fields
-has the chickens be born
-natural ingredients used for the food

genetics are part of God's decision...the parents did part of it but God put it all together i guess you could say

sickness is made happen by God and those other factors...so he has created natural consequence for most of it
