I got this bad perm a couple months ago. Well, it curled my hair and everything, and it actually looked pretty good. But, the thing is, in a week I had half wavy, half straight hair! It was really gross, and I'm sure I did everything right. And now I have to flat iron it and have spit ends that I constantly have to go and get trimmed! What can I do to get rid of this perm faster without further damaging my hair?

You won;t be able to get rid of the perm short of cutting it all off. BUT, you can work with what you have to make it look better!

There is a product out there called curl conscious by Bumble and Bumble. I had a perm like yours, and I used this stuff to bring the life back to the perm. It makes the hair smooth and calms down the frizzes while creating big soft curls. If you want to wear your hair straight, there are 2 products that will make the hair healthier looking and eaiser to straighten. Believe it ot not, Finesse conditioner works like a hair relaxer. Be sure to leave it on a few minutes before rinsing. Then, use a product called Biosilk hair serum. It will make your hair shiny and glossy when you use it with a flat iron. For some reason the compbo of the 2 products makes permed hair really easy to straighten.

I had a perm I hated once, so I just had it straitened. They do it the same way they do a perm, but instead of putting the curlers in, they just keep combing it strait while the perming solution is in it.

Do what Britney did last month. Of course her problem wasn't a perm but extensions and a bad dye job.

A headshave will get rid of a perm the fastest!

heh heh just kidding...

do a reverse perm, using perm solution you put it on and comb through your hair, straightening it. better to ask a friend to do it though. the instructions should be on the packet. or have you tried going back to the hairdressers where you had it done they should fix for you.
