why do you people keep saying NO gay marriage shouldnt be legalized, its an "abomination"?. WHY do you care? As long as your living your "Christian" life and "following the words of God" why do you care what other people are doing? As long as yourr "living the way god wants you to" why dont you just be happy for yourself, and leave other people alone? let other people live how they want. if gays wanna be able to marry they should be able to without you guys preaching down on them. We dont wanna hear "you are sinning!" or "what your doing in against the will of god!" Honestly, is that suppose to scare us? And even if we were going to hell (which we're not), thats up to us to find out now isnt it? This just shows how much you people really try to make everyone else like you,. I can proudly say that I know for a fact that the lord accepts me the way I am regardless of who I choose to be in love with,. ....And you guys wonder why people bash on you so much....f you. Amen.

i think alot of people consider the gay lifestyle to be marring the image of the entire country and degrading it morally ... not to mention that children and adopting kids becomes involved in legalized gay marriage ... maybe nobody should care ... but maybe they should ....

I really, really, really, don't care. Marriage wasn't a Christian concept. So that's out. It could be a Christian concept, but it is not always the case. I find the notion of stopping marriage of Gays incredibly stupid and offensive. If only Christians would wake the hell up!!! And I'm a Christian!!!

There are weddings in Thailand, Vietnam, Borneo, Libiya, Ethiopia, Japan, that are NOT Christian ceremonies. Do they also want to ban those? Humpf!

What's more important, the preaching of the Gospel, or the division created by the applying of power over those because of supposed "MORALS"?

My Christian 'bretheren' have really pissed me off!

I think the fact that there are christians that are mean to gays is wrong and they're just letting their pride get the best of them. They think because they have the security of knowing where they are going someday makes them better than people that we're not so sure about. It's good to have the assurance that you are going to heaven someday, and I'm not sure how I feel about gays, and where they will end up. I guess I think that if they are a christian and truly live for God then they will go to heaven, but I'm not sure. All I know is that when I talk to gays about christianity, it's not to make them feel bad about who they are and to be all preachy; rather it's to share the greatness of God with them. I'm not gay so I don't know if they are born the way they are or not, but whether they are or not, God still loves them and so should we as christians. So, basically to answer your question, we care because we don't want anyone to go to hell; gay or not. We want everyone to experience God's grace and love and spend eternity with us in heaven! Hope it helped!

I'm sure by referring to "you people" you did not have Jehovah's Witnesses in mind. Because we have always remained politically neutral in such debates as gay marriage, abortion, etc. We are commanded to be "no part of the world." And so we are.

But that doesn't mean that we condone the immoral practices of homosexuals, anymore than we condone abortion, fornication, child molestation, and any other gross sin.

Everyone is born imperfect and we all will "sin and fall short of the glory of God." Some are born with more of a tendency toward one type of sin or another. A person born with a tendency towards alcoholism would have to fight extra hard not to give in. The same goes for a person born with a tendency towards homosexuality. If they are to ever hope to gain God's approval they must shun immoral practices, and live in harmony with Bible principle.

I agree with you, people should live their own lives and stop trying to live the lives of others. BUT it's not just the Christians, that act that way, but lots of others too. THe world would be a happier place if people minded their own business. They won't though. So, all i can tell you is just do your best to ignore them, and live your life. I don't think God would have made you the way you are, just to send you to hell for it. Lots of different groups think they know what God wants and how he wants us to live our lives, but the truth is NOBODY knows!

Because when gay marriage is allowed it affects more people than just you. Kids can be adopted, new laws allowing inter-species marriages will then be adopted etc.--if you don't believe me...most people all over the world would've thought you were insane to even mention gay marriage 30-40 years ago.

I'm curious...why do you insist on being married? Marriage is a civil and religious and sacred ordinance...not only a way to say your in love.

I know God does love you and he accepts you(I do too)...just not your sin.

I'm a Christian dad and I believe in the Bible. The Bible says that being gay is a sin. I'm also bringing up a beautiful little boy to learn the right things in life. So the one thing I don't need him to see are the things that are wrong like being gay.
I want him to follow the teaching of God. And being gay is not what God teaches. I don't want him thinking that being gay is normal because it is not. My son is the reason why I care what gay people do in this country.

I am a practicing Christian and I believe all people should live their lives doing whatever will make them happy, as long as no one is harmed physically. Many others think that no one can be happy unless all people are happy in the same way.

You need to actually read the Bible. Yes God loves you but you can't expect to live a sinful life. God did not create man for man. No matter how much homosexuals try to convince yourself that your lifestyle is right, God's word tells us plainly that it is not. This country was founded by christians and I am so tired of people like you who want everyone to roll over and change our constitution to suit your new lifestyle! If you don't like it move to another country.
