Is this a good routine or should i go back to running every day and lifting weights every other day?

I train on Mon, wed, Fri. With 20 min cardio at the end. Tues, Thurs, Sat. Cardio only 1-1.5 hours. Sunday Off.

Yeah the problem with working out every day is that you dont allow your body ample time to recover. Especially if you're lifting weights, your cardio activity will tear your muscle back down again so your workouts in the gym become redundant.

If you can't give up running, try and lift 3 times a week, jog 5 and rest at LEAST 1 per week (no activity at all).

Just remember that when you think you're not burning fat, your body actually is because of your high metabolism. Your body also builds muscle during rest. Not during your exercise. So if you don't rest, your muscle will never build. Every pound of muscle your body has burns 50 extra calories per day while you rest.

Well you are only running 2-3 miles, so you should everyday, i ride 15-17 miles everyay. on the weight lifting that should be every other day, so you can let the muscles rebuild, so do that and you should see results very fast.

2 miles isn't a lot. If you were up around 30-40 miles a week, a rest day once a week might be advisable, but not for what you're doing.
