Try to see her more often than just in school. Ask to walk her home or see her on the weekend. The best way you can show love in a group is by treating her with respect and giving her space. Don't be all touchy feely at school because that is awkward for her. But when the lights go down at the movie theatre, that is a different story.

listen dude. Im a high schooler and this is my opinion. Ur honestly a little to young. Just really talk with her as a friend, keep in totch w/ her, and wait a little to make some big moves. Try somethin basic like a movie or the mall this or preferably next year. trust me, trying stuff in the 6th grade or under dosent work. just be patient, wait a little longer

I think that people are wrong to tell younger people that they cannot love! It is not very common, but I believe it is possible. However, being that you are in 6th grade, there is nothing wrong with loving your girlfriend, just make sure to take things slowly or you will both regret it in your later lives. If you want to show her how you feel about her in an appropriate "6th grade" way- hang out with her outside of school, call her sometimes, bring her flowers from time to time- just cute and thoughtful things are good. Just remember not to rush things- and best of luck!

You're in the 6th grade, for the next few years your attaction to the opposite sex will only be for appearance. Instead of the word love, use "I have feelings for you" because you're much too young and haven't had much experience with girls. What if you do tell this girl you love her? Then you will be commited to this one girl for a long time and when you're looking for the new car smell, it'll be difficult for you to break up all because you said the words "I love you" at an early age.

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

u don't love her! 6th grade is way to young! and if u only see her in art class, u don't even know her! u should try to get to know her before u go all romeo on her! ur gonna freak her out if u say those three words!

can u tell her anything? do u hang with her out of school? do u know alot about her? does she know u really well? do other people know how u guys feel about each other?

if not then ur not even beginning to love her! i think u have a crush!

Pay attention to her, make her feel better when she is around you, ask her what she wants... try to remember the little things that are important to her. Tell her that you are shy around other people... but aren't that way with her. And surprise her with flowers (within your budget) on different, special occassions. This works for 6th grade or 60 years old !

And try very hard NOT to spend more money on her than you can budget. That's hard in the 6th grade. But time and attention are more important than things.

I'm in sixth grade to so some of my friends have the same problem as you and this is what they do:
get him/her a present or a gift for an Holiday or just randomly
tell the feelings you have towards him/her privately
go out to the movies or any other thing together
Or in your case congratulate her on her artwork

It doesn't matter if he is 11 years old!

He can still love!

Just be really good friends with her for a few months, then ask her out. Honestly, When I was in 6th Grade, don't bother loving anyone, wait untill you two are ready!

Okay boy in the sixth grade you should be out riding bikes or hanging out with your friends not having sex with your girlfriend my husband of five years was with a girl in middle school and he slept with her and everything I guess they thought they were in love, and he didn't even end up with her, they ended up breaking up but they thought they were grown ups having sex and doing grown up things. My point is that you should slow down and think about your life, and future, and enjoy being a teenager, you dont want to end up a young parent do you.
