I been with this guy for a while now. My mom doesn't him because she thinks that he is a bum because he's not in school. He works part time but doesn't have a car. I have a car but I got tired of going to see him all the time. Now i only visit him once a week. Now he wants to take me out this weekend. I want to ask my mom but I know she is going have something smart to say.

If you are guaranteed to have fun and to enjoy his company then go. Don't think about what others think because it is really up to you. But sometimes you got to think about the long run.. would you really want to have a future with a guy like this? But by the way you told your question you are probably still young.. so just enjoy youth.

hmm. seems to me like your mom doesnt no him well.
try and get your boyfriend to know your mom better. trust me you want your mom to get to know him it makes the relationship so much better. and as for the trip he wants you to go on. ask your mom anyways.
try not to get too mad at her if she says something smart or else the trip is off. if she says yes, ALRIGHT!! but if she says no then dont worry about it. if your boyfriend makes plans for a trip now he can make plans later. trying to ask your mom is more important than not asking her at all. (beleive me. asking your mom is worth it. no matter how scared i get i ask anyways and it ends up not being so scary).

i guess he is really goodlooking and thats what make you disagree with your mom, well see if those things that he doesnt possess matter to you or not, caz if you go out and click then you have to deal with these things, just ask yourself if you like your bf or the one in your life have those possesion or not, if yes, then i guess you should turn the guy down, its good for you and then him

Its your choice. If i were you i wouldnt but if YOU like the guy then go for it, just tell your mom how you feel about him and she would probably let you.

well u should defenitely take what ur mom is saying into consideration, and try talk to him about maybe trying to better himself. i think that if ur mom see's that he is atleast putting some effort into changing her judgement of him, then she will be more accepting of him.
