No - It'a not. The climate is too harsh for a Pug to be outside all day long in the heat. You need to crate train your dogs - that will solve the issue with urinating all over - you should also discuss this with your Vet...the dog or dogs could have a serious kidney or bladder problem.

I don't think its a very good idea to leave the pugs outside in the warm to long, there not that type of dog.I got a pug he is 4 months old and he doesn't like the warmth so much.If this is you first baby the dogs might be on a jealous thing right now.I am not sure if its possible with them being a little older but puppy pads are not all that bad they have a sent on them to let them know its ok to go there.or you might also be able to take the puppy pad and wipe the pee with it then put it somewhere where the baby cant get it and bring them to it and let them smell it and they might learn to go there but once you find a spot for it you cant keep on moving the pad.Good Luck

There's a good chance that your pugs will die if you leave them outside in the California summer. A long nose helps a dog cool itself quickly. Pugs aren't able to cool themselves down like a lot of other dogs due to their smushed noses. Because of this, they overheat very easily and need to be kept in a place that isn't too warm.
Take your dogs to the vet. They may have developed a health problem which is causing this. Even if the vet checks them and says they're ok, he can probably give you some ideas about what to try next.

No do not put them outside. It will be to hot for them. The heat is very hard on the dogs that have there noses pushed in. The reason they maybe doing this is b/c they are not getting all of your time now with the baby. They are trying to get your time back. Make sure when the baby is asleep they get your time. Also i would have them in another room tell your baby is a good crawler. always make sure you are with the baby with the dogs. It may help for you to put the poddie pads out in the places they keep doing this. Just give them more loving. Hope it helps but NO outside

it is humane to leave them outside NOW while the weather is cooler. And at night. But during the summer I would advise against it. I have a pug and he is perfectly happy sitting outside in 70 degree weather. Make sure you have plenty of water and shelter of some sort.
Oh and to crazy jack.... get a life you moron, it is a fully justafiable question. Your a boob and should not be allowed to answer any questions. God bless you and your ignorance. Crazyjack(*ss)

Dogs can live outside most of the time, but unless the "proper shelter" is air conditioned, bring them into the house (even just one room) if the temperature goes above about 80 degrees and be sure the dogs have plenty of fresh clean water.

It sounds like your pugs are jealous of the baby. They are not getting the attention you used to give them, which of course we understand but the dogs don't.
I would suggest getting a large crate and crate them together (so they don't get upset for being separated). Put them in the crate on and off during the day and all night.

No, pugs are a bracheocyphalic breed (i.e. non-existing face, smushed in faces) so they are prone to heat stroke and do not fare well in humid conditions. Especially in warm temps, they need to be kept in cool or air conditioning.
Have you had them to a vet lately? I would rule out a urinary tract infection on both dogs. Also, how much has their schedule changed since you've had the baby? Is it possible you are just not able to keep up with them and recognize when they have to go out? You would be better off trying to keep them in one room gated off (i.e. laundry room) so your baby is not crawling through potty accidents and the messes would be easier to clean up if they were in one area

It is very humane, put the pugs outside so your baby can crawl around on a pee-free floor!! Dogs were meant to be outside, we are the ones who taught them to want to be inside. Just as you have posted, as long as they have proper shelter and plenty of water, they will be fine. Enjoy your baby. They may be jealous of the baby, that is why all of a sudden they are starting to urinate on the floor, to mark "their" territory.

i personally see no problem with that as long as they dont end up getting ignored and the area is dog safe. as in there isnt all sorts of stuff they can get into and injure themselves and its is also able to keep them secure from outsiders and the outsiders safe as well. they may have started peeing in the house because of the competition with the baby and they want the baby to know that the house is theirs, which obviously is not working for them :) just make sure you dont ignore them and they get the love and attention they need. good luck with your furry and non furry babies.
