It doesn't take a huge intellect for a guy to run his mouth.
Ignore him and move along.

The guy sounds like an idiot and was probably looking for somebody to argue with. I think I'm an Agnostic/Athiest but am not sure. A lifetime of brainwashing has me very confused these days about religion. I want to believe there's something out there but have way to many questions to just blindly believe it.
Religion is another means of controlling people - that is my belief.

Are you serious? Stuff like that happens where you live! It's sad in another way, that speaker had such a wonderful opportunity to do the work of God and he/she blew it, big time!
PS: I think the free-speech thing was a bad idea. Maybe speaking with mouths should have been outlawed?

Sounds to me like he wanted to test the limits of free speech. If you raise an objection to the college Dean it might get things like this to stop, but it might also stop others from voicing actual worthy topics. As with all things in life, sometimes you have to take the good with the bad.

People are free to speak as they choose, at least on public property. On my campus, we have a "circle" dedicated to allowing anyone to speak about anything they choose. We get a lot of these crazies. Generally, we laugh and make fun of them. I wouldn't take it too seriously. Everyone knows these people are just nutters, but they are free to speak as is everyone else. You just don't have to listen.

If he actually said Whores and the other statements you say he made, then I definitely question him being a true christian. He did nothing but alienate people, that's for sure. If he made biblical references using scripture and you interpreted it differently, then there's nothing wrong with it.

If I were in that situation then I would have left so I wouldn't had to sully my ears with nonsense. Preaching that way to people will hardly win any followers to God.

hey! i think i saw that guy (or one similar) on my campus when i was in college. really ticked a lot of people off, they were throwing food at him & spitting on him, and security came to REMOVE him at the student body's insistance. he was REALLY insulting & inflamatory. does more to hurt the image of judeo-christian religions & turn people away from jesus & love than anything.

Just shout " Do you have any credible evidence that can withstand criticism to support such a hypothesis!" at him he should soon shut up (either that or fail to understand and contradict himself). Say no to jesus

Well, he is entitled to say what he wants. That doesn't make him right, and I feel that he has done a disservice to God, but that's just my opinion. Blessings in the Light of Christ!

properly as a Christian i don't consider what he did, interior the Bible it says blessed are the peacemakers. He did not come there to witness to you and inform you concerning to the Gospel yet instead to reason hardship. Do I consider homosexuality no, I had a pair of gay pals and while they asked me what i assumed in I instructed them that God isn't thrilled approximately it and that he hates it and after that we under no circumstances had a concern, while they heard it as quickly as then that replaced into sufficient i did not sense the might desire to repeatedly drum it into their heads they comprehend they are gay. sometimes human beings discover it not straightforward while they are confronted with the certainty, the guy who got here on your campus wasn't a baby of God yet basically in basic terms some individual who's under the fantasy that they are doing God's will while in certainty they are in basic terms paving their way slowly to hell. he's chatting with people who he does not comprehend, and you suspect as you men whores? The God I serve does not tolerate human beings like that, nor does he prefer you to hold it against them what they do because of the fact he has not something to do with them. every time somebody comes preaching something different than the Gospel of Jesus, then they don't look to be his baby and you will possibly desire to forget approximately approximately them, because of the fact they could make your concept jaded and mess you up in case you pay attention to them. purely like interior the days of oppression, the "Whites" or "slave vendors" believed that they've been doing God's will via enslaving us "blacks". That we've been animals yet that still did not end "them" from snoozing with "us", and making "us" breast feed "their" better halves why "they" have been out doing God is conscious what.
