I told a guy I thought he was cute. Whenever he sees me he just looks but never says anything. He can find me in a room full of people and make direct I contact. Is he not interested?

He is not yet serious to a level of commitment. Might still young or immature. A waste of time and effort to think him about. Look around to keep yourself out of unworthy anxiety. Don't show you are more interested on him to avoid opportunism. Serious guys wanted he should be the one to show up more interest . Rest assure you are facing a responsible man....

It sounds like you might have caught him off guard and that he's really shy. I say this because if he can give you eye contact with tons of people around but not one on one, that means he's shy =) I'd say let him come to you now that he knows your thoughts. Good luck!
