Your prime mistake was not reading him even in the 7 long years that you were together. But as they say love is Blind and that was most probably the reason. Nowadays, it is not uncommon for guys to ditch you for their careers and I am not surprised if he has done the same after apparently, using you to the fullest, possible.
Presently, you seem to be an emotional wreck and thus prone to do foolish things. IMMEDIATELY get out of your house and see people you are comfortable with and can discuss things, freely. The best person might be your mother but it can simply be anyone. Anyone whom you can meet at the EARLIEST and prevent you from doing rash things which your present situation might compel you to do.
You must spend more and more time in the company of your loved ones who will lend an eager ear to your woes as Time is the best healer and will help in total catharsis of your soul. For you need to forget your immediate past at the earliest which is the major cause of your agony. If time and money permit, it might be a good idea to undertake a long journey far away from your present place of abode along with a friend or an understanding relative. This way you will come out of your reactive depression, faster and once again get a hold on your life which is PRECIOUS by all means.
Slowly but surely you will return back to your normal self and may be even meet SOMEONE, again who will fill the void created in your life and who knows perhaps, might even be much better than the previous one.
This way you will rise from the ashes, a much changed person for that is what Life is all about --a collection of Experiences and not prone to commit the same mistakes as before if you have truely learnt your lesson in the game of love you played which was sadly, one-sided.

If you think you are the only one person that has suffered from broken dreams, broken heart, you are mistaken. Most people at one time or another as felt just as bad if not worst than you have and have learned to survive it. If you end it now, remember, you would have only taken the coward's way out. It takes dertermination and self love to get pass the pain and to find ways to move on. Right now because your pain is fresh, it is normal to feel as if life holds no future for you. But are you not curious what the future will really have for you? You just might miss out on the good plans God has in store for you. That special guy is out there somewhere, waiting for you, too bad you might not be there to meet him. God Bless!

The problem with your dreams is that they were all focused around him. Honey been there done that and it really hurts when you make someone your live and hope to die like that. Trust me even though you feel like that pain will never end it will. This happened to me years ago with the guy that I thought was my "soul mate". I thought I would just die without this guy in my life and I even wanted to because I just wanted him back so bad. But my life went on painfully at first and then eventually with time, and only time I started to feel better. But guess what, now the same guy is back in my life all of these years later (just started about 6 months ago) and he is crazy about me now the way that I was about him then and now he wants to marry me. After all of these years and other people later we have found our way back to each other...so Honey don't give up hope. Even if this guy is not the one for you I guarantee you that there is someone out there for you that will make you ask yourself "What did I ever see in him"?

I have been with my Indian princess a little while now, and I love her dearly. Yet, if[god forbid] we should go our separate ways, I'll miss her dearly, yet I must go on.She helps me to keep an even keel, yet, the good ship Rev Rene must continue to sail! Again, I'll miss her terribly, words cannot express how much, but I will survive. I have no other choice, and neither do you!!!!!!
