there are a couple of things....
first of all a lot of the times you think you are hungry you are actually thirsty. so if you feel some hunger pains go grab a class of water and see if that helps.
next when you bored at work i know there isnt really anything you can do but try getting up and walking around or browsing the net for a little while to keep your mind busy, and why not pick up a hobby for while you are home. that way you mind is thinking about the task at hand and not about being hungry.
lastly you are probably eating foods that dont stay with you. try eating stuff like tuna which will stay in your stomach longer and you wont get hungry so quickly.
there are pills that curb you appetite, but why take unnecessary medicine.

I recently started a new diet, and found that I also tend to eat when I'm bored. I always keep tea (sweetened with Splenda) and diet soda close, so I can get rid of my sugar tooth and boredom and still not be taking in any calories. I also peel a grapefruit and put it in a small bowl with some splenda (most grapefruits are anywhere between 75 and 125 calories, but they're huge) and graze on that when i get restless. Also, measuring out 1 cup baggies of cheerios or other low-calorie cereal can help too, as long as you don't over-do it. Good luck!

I think the best way to overcome bored eating is to occupy yourself and your mind completely. A nice trick would be to multi-task at work, clean up around your house, or take on a sudden project. Ex: cleaning out closets, garages, etc.
If that doesnt work, try snacking on a bag of sunflower seeds with the shells. Its both mind occupying and food full-filling.

I don't recommend pills at all. You may become jittery. I suggest snacking on foods that fill you up. All nuts (try not to get the roasted ones) and cranberries. Any fresh fruit is good, but Dr. Oz recommends cranberries. Water is great too.
Best of luck to you.

that isn't any longer that you've eaten too a lot (searching on your parts as well) yet if you find yourself worried about your well being, stay faraway from the donuts! and reduce down on stuff like pasta, rice, and bread. cheese isn't the perfect ingredient for you both. besides the indisputable fact that the first 3 products are solid for you :) a superior thanks to steer away from ingesting too a lot, is to attempt ingesting water once you first imagine you're hungry. provide your self twenty minutes and observe if the starvation continues to be there. an outstanding form of the time once you imagine you opt for to eat, you're easily only dehydrated.

The best suggestion I could give is chew gum, snack on carrots or healthy things and you should be okay!

I don't trust pills.. drink water, you might be thirsty instead of hungry. Or just find something to focus on instead of mindless eating.
