alot of that depends on who owns the salon.. some will treat it and do the manincure.. others will refuse and not do it until you have seen a dr .. personally i woulldn't get nails done until fungus has cleared up.. you are not only taking a chance of making your fungus worse, but passing it on to someone else..

I would think, and hope, that a reputable salon will not treat anyone with fungus. - finger or toenails. If not taken care of, this can spread to all of your nails. I work in a podiatrist's office, and it takes a long time to clear up fungus toenails. Some topical treatments work if not too involved but if all involved sometimes oral treatment only will work, and this takes a good 6 months to clear after you're taken the oral meds for 3 months. Some people have actualy gotten clearing by using Vicks Vaporub -not fully involved fungus nails however.

Yes, and most likely they will treat the fungus with an antibacterial treatment

EWW! They shouldn't! I would hope NOT! Sounds like something that could be contagious and why would you want to go have your nails done if you have a fungal condition? It sounds like that would just make the problem worse.

No they wont. just like they wont cut your hair if you have lice.its as simple as that. go to the doctor and get some medicine with the money you are going to use to get your nails done with.
