I am writing a research paper on Animal abuse and how the US should not only enforce the penalties on animal abuse but they should also require it to be a felony. I am looking for some creditable sources on that topic. Does anyone have any ideas??

When you are looking for a credible source, you ultimately want a source that has current and accurate information, opposed to some persons opinion. That said, try using www.searchedu.com There is a pull down menu that will guide you to all educational sites and government sites. Using information that comes from a .edu, .gov, or .mil address is almost always credible.

If that does not work, look at the site that you want to use. Is the site regularly updated? Is there an author to the site? Is the author easily accessible by email for further questions? Is the website current? Most papers require that the information used be no more than two to three years old.

Good Luck.
