There was a time when quite a few birds had frequented our garden. but now with multi-storeyed buildings coming around, and lot of trees being cut, now only a few species are left. They are:
The cuckoo, sparrow, crow, maina, parrot, bulbul, pigeon.

Stellar's Jay
Blue Jay
Scrub Jay
Dark-eyed Junco
American Robin
Northern Flicker (Red-shafted)
Downy Woodpecker
Hairy Woodpecker
Red-breasted Nuthatch
White-breasted Nuthatch
Creeper
Common (American) Crow
House Finch
Bushtit
Bohemian Waxwing
Cedar Waxwing
Common Raven
Black-billed Magpie
Mallard
American Wigeon
Canada Goose
Cooper's Hawk
Sharp-shinned Hawk

flying over the house, Ring-billed Gull
very rare, Great Horned Owl
