When you get out of the shower, brush your hair straight. Then, about every fifteen minutes, brush it straight again. That way, by the time it is dry, your hair will have dried straight. This only works if you have a lot of time for your hair to dry, though.

After you've washed and conditioned (I like Pantene's hydrating curls) your hair, towel dry it. Apply a dime sized amount of Enjoy straight and smooth (about $8 at a salon supply store) to your hands, rub together and through your hair. Blow it dry with a large round brush. Don't give up if it's not right the first couple of times. I had to try it several times until I got the correct amount for my hair so it didn't turn out oily and limp. I like it because it keeps the frizz away.

When your hair is wet... grab yourself a bottle of any kind of "silkening drops" There a bunch of them out there - BioSilk is a great brand. Put some drops in your hand and work it through your hair

Grab a blowdryer and a big round brush....

Then proceed to do what we all used to call a "Blowout"

Start with small 1-2 inch chunks of hair and hold the blowdryer to your hair with the big round brush underneath it and brush down... with the dryer following... repeat over and over until that chunk of hair is straight...

Repeat with the rest of your head.. once its all done, put a few more drops to smooth your hair... You can use a finishing spritz to hold the style if you'd like...

The strength of your natural curl will determine how long your hair will stay straight of course..

well there is always a relaxer, black women use this, but it is very harsh, if u really wanna get one, then see a professional about that. but you need a really god flat iron that wont take u a long time to straighten. i am black and i dont get relaxers my hair is all natural, my hair i shoulder lenght, and it is thick as hell, it takes me no more than an hour. the flat iron is called a sedu. i got it from folica.com. it doesnt seem to damage my hair like other flat irons. my hir is gorgeous it looks like i get it professionally done!!!!! all u need is some good products and the sedu and you can straighen your hair in no time at all.

I have really curly hair also what I do is when i wash my hair i use a strightener shampoo and cond. i use 2 diffrent ones because its good to change up because you hair gets build up if you dont change it. so i use sunsilk and frizz- ease after you have washed it put product in it to protect your hair and helps aid strightening. blow dry it with a big round brush it is more healthy for your har, or you can get a flat-iron brush, the brush doesnt get hot its the hair dryer.

Well a strightener is the best, but back in the day women that wanted straight hair would wrap there hair around there head (when wet) and leave it like that overnight! =]

My mom has curly hair, when it's wet she will take a blow drier and a brush and take it and brush it and curl the brush around it and holds it and blows it with a blow drier. It works and it stays for like a day and a half.
