So many people use this word for just about everything. another person disagrees,it's intolerance. Isn't it when you don't allow another person to have their own views and being unrespectful at the same time? A Disagreement in itself is not intolerance.

Way mis-used on here all the time. It is used as a name to place onto people that don't agree. But then I am tolerant of that intolerance.

Also believing something is wrong, does not make a person intolerant. It means they believe something is wrong.

God said to be intolerant of SIN, even though we all sin. The main thing is to try not to sin. Being so called " saved " does not give anybody a license to sin at will. We must try our best not to sin.

Tolerance vs. Love

Tolerance says, "You must approve of what I do."

Love responds, "I must do something harder:

I will love you even when your behavior offends me."

Tolerance says, "You must agree with me."

Love responds, "I must do something harder:
I will tell you the truth,
because I am convinced 'the truth will set you free.'"

Tolerance says, "You must allow me to have my way."

Love responds, "I must do something harder:
I will plead with you to follow the right way,
because I believe you are worth the risk."

Tolerance seeks to be inoffensive;

Love takes risks.

Tolerance glorifies division;

Love seeks unity.

Tolerance costs nothing;

Love costs everything.
