No, not at all. Between the walking, the lines, and eating, you wouldn't want to do that. Plus, you want to appreciate it. Not just stuff it all into one day. :)

If you've never seen Ca adventure before but you have been to Disneyland, then yes, one day is enough if you go during the weekdays between mon-thu. If it's your first time to both parks, then get yourself a 2 day park hopper. On an empty day, you can see all of Ca adventure in about 3-4 hours. Disneyland, if you haven't been there before, will take you all day. :o)

You could visit them both in one day, but you won't be getting on any rides.
With the lines and crowds, I think you need a minimum of two days for each park to really experience what they have to offer.
BTW-you have to do the "Tower of Terror" ride in California Adventureland.
I don't know why I enjoy it, I am not the type that generally enjoys that kind of ride, but for some reason this one is just a blast.

No, you'll want one day for each. By the time you stand in line for the rides, etc, you'll want the whole day. Go on weekdays, and it's much less crowded.

If you go during the summer when they extend their hours, yes.
