Regrettably Atheism. It says so in the Bible. Read Revelations keeping in mind that Harlot (or Babylon the Great) is a symbol for false religions and the Beast is the Governments. The Beast will turn on the Harlot and devour her. Evil consumes evil. There will be a few left however who are the Real Christians. But mostly people will be atheists also due to corrupt religious leaders etc.

I am a Christian but I can tell you that IF the world is still around and we have a choice yet, that Christianity won't have the most followers. It clearly states in the Bible that there will be a great falling away of the church. As far as I can tell by what is written in the Bible, the end times are near if not already upon us.

In my opinion, Islam will have the greatest number of followers 50 years from now, for the following two reasons:
1) Agressive outreach.
2) Population growth: Practicing Muslims do not believe in using birth control.

Nature.... there is a healing going on in nature.... it will be better than anything out there.... the only problem is...religion is incompatible with nature so it can't be called a religion... a balanced nature produces karma... in karma is self responsibility... that is where we are headed to a world without religion.

I would have to say Islam.I'm Christian, but it's obvious if you look at the statistics that Islam is in fact the fastest growing religion.I'd love to see Christianity catching up,though!

Consumerism - because everything is becoming an advertising medium, and people are willing to give up their critical reasoning skills in the name of entertainment.

it'll either be islam or christianity..dat'll have de most followers..
but i'm sure i wont be one of them.. i'm all for self realisation (as taught in hinduism -the oldest religion on earth) as it teaches us to be constantly in love with nature n denounce one's self of all attachments..
the way i see it.. the major problem wit de world to day is... nobody gives a damn.. everyone's pursuing they're own goals.. once dey have it.. they want more.. regardless of what it takes..
im sure everyone beliefs.. actions have consequences (karma)..
dats exactly wat hinduism is all about..
so love n let love..
al in de name of retaining our habitat..
PEACE
-for real-at al cost-
