I am so sorry that you lost your cat. My heart goes out to you--I lost my cat Felix in December--and I know it is very hard.
I would like to tell you that every day gets easier but it really doesn't because I'm not over my cats death yet. The only thing that makes it easier for me is knowing that I did everything possible for him before he died.
In the meantime if you haven't already--visit Petloss.com---this made it easier for me.
I adopted another kitten in January--he has somewhat filled the big hole left in my heart---but nothing will ever take my felix's place.
Wishing you the best--and again I'm so sorry for your loss.

i couldn't tell ya. my cat ran away for the first time this past new years eve and i couldn't stop crying. he thankfully came home and everything with him is fine. i don't know what i would do if my cat ever died. i guess you can say its kinda like when a person you love dies. you will hurt and it will take some time to heal. i think our pets are no different than people. love is love and to loose something you love is extrememly painful. keep crying eventually you will stop

So sorry you lost your cat. It will get less painful. Make a memorial site for your cat on catster.org. It will help you to focus on the good memories and leave the pain... and you'll meet lots of other people who have loved and lost feline family members, too.

i do the same, and my cat hasn't even died, though i had to give him away because i couldn't take care of him while being at college, and he go sick and my parents were having a hard time taking care of him. just let it out, and eventually you'll feel better, but it's perfectly reasonable to cry. i'm very, very sorry about your loss!

It's called grief. It will help to talk about your cat and in time you will feel better. Keep out some pictures of him and think of him fondly. I like to think there is a cat heaven and my cat is there playing with her friends.
