how do i put a photo on to a word document.thanks

From the menu at the top.

Insert -> Picture -> From File

This opens a dialog where you can browse to and select the picture.

Alternative method.

Open your Word Document. Also open the Pictures folder from your "My Document". Put the two programs side by side.

Left click and hold your picture, drag it to the Word document and let go of the mouse.

If you want to include text in your document it is best to first drag in the pictures, then right click on each one and select 'Format Object' from the little menu.

In 'Wrapping' you are deciding how typed text should go around your pictures, the default is inline, but I think that if the pictures are not too large that 'Square' is often a better choice.

Open your Word Document. Click the menu Insert, then Click Picture, then click "From File", it will open up a file select dialog. Point to ur photo and press insert button on the dialog window. Your photo will be inserted in the document
