I work out in a 92-degree heated therapy pool, doing a 1 hour routine that is a combination of aerobic, strength building and flexibility, 3-4 x a week. I was taught this routine by a friend who is a personal trainer, and she works out with me a couple of times a month. I also sit on a yoga ball for hours every day (at my desk and sometimes in front of the TV, if I watch any) which strengthens the whole core and lower back area.

I climb and hill walk, because it's a great form of exercise and i never get bored. My husband and i visit 100s of different locations, he is a photographer and we see the most amazing sights on our travels. All the effort, aches, pains and struggle of reaching a summit, are so worth it when your sitting there, away from all the hustles and bustles of every day life. The feeling can't be simulated by any workout in a gym. Looking over the vista of breath taking beauty you are filled with a sense of peace, calm and sheer wonder, and my husband is able to capture the moment on camera.

I walk my 4 and 9 year old to school and back everyday. Its a round trip, taking me 30 Min's; 20 there and a very brisk 10 Min's back. Once home I unfold the rowing machine and spend 30 Min's warming myself up after the refreshing walks.
I then spend the rest of the day keeping the house clean and tidy. And in between I paint for a living-fine art, landscapes etc, to keep the boredom of being alone most of the day.

I do a total body work out: 30min cardio, core strengthening, weight training and muscle building. It helps me loose weight, tone muscles, and straighten my body over all.
Plus a proper diet helps too! I am partial to South Beach. It teaches you how to eat healthy and maintain your weight once you have achieved your goal.Plus it was cheap all I had to do was buy the book and get a gym membership. Oh and I have a friend that is a personal trainer that helped me with the exercise routine! and I drink a ton of water!

Up to half hour on stepper per day, 15 minutes of ABS training per day, 20 to 30 minutes of weight training per day, up to 15 minutes with gyrociser per day and at least one good walk of up to 10 miles per week. Why do I do it? I do it because I like to look after myself and keep myself fit.

I go swimming every week for about an hour and I've recently been walking everywhere!
I love swimming and doing it with friends makes it more fun. If you're able to walk to wherever you need to get then walk, it's quite fun and gives you time to think about things, gets your imagination going! lol
