I have heard of using preparation H on sunburns. I have never
tried it but I do believe it would work. I knew a nurse that would
tell people to use it. It relieves itching and burning and that is what a sunburn does.

Preparation H has been used for lots of things besides hemorrhoids. I have heard of it being employed for bed sores, itchy surgical scars, burns, dry cracked finger, and yes, even wrinkles. Preparation-H contains an astringent called phenylephrine which also works as a blood vessel
constringent that might help in bring the inflammation on a burn, but i really wouldn't replace it for more used methods.

Anything greasy will probably make it feel better but Preparation H will only shrink hemorrhoids or maybe wrinkles.

no. pour a cup or so of white vinegar in a bath and soak in that. it takes out the sting and will reduce redness.

Never tried it. But for a good soothing balm, use Noxema.
