I am tired of shaving around the 'bikini line' area to stop the forest from growing and having STD looking razor bumps left behind. I want to try waxing and was wondering what was a good waxing product for that area? And where can I get it from? I couldn't find any at Walmart which shocked me, or maybe I didn't look in the right places.

Thanks.

I used the Veet Sensitive Skin strips with finishing wipes. Be warned though, it's really tricky and not recommended if you're new to waxing.

If you still want to try, be sure and cut the strips into smaller sizes, you can't rip big strips in that area - sore and awkward to hold the skin taut.

To avoid mess, cut the strips and then follow the instructions about warming them in your hands - if you do it the other way round, you get wax all over your scissors as it gets pretty sticky if you cut after you've warmed it.

I found a good one in Wal-mart, it should be right by the other waxes - nair and all that, don't be afraid to ask a sales person. But be prepared for alittle bit of pain, but it's worth it - more than those bumps from the blade. Maybe for your 1st time, go to an actual spa to get it done (around $50) so you can see the technique. Becareful too if the wax is too hot - if you feel it is, then it is and speak up. Oh, and I recommend using the one without paper strips but you'll find the kind that works best for you with trial and error - but you most likely will never go back to shaving.

oh for crying out loud--wimps! it doesnt hurt that badly!

Nads is a great product (its a green box), also Sally Hansen makes a "no heat" wax, too. Nads has the muslin strips. Sally Hansen has the other kind. Both are "sugar", not really wax. Rinses off very clean.
It's always easier if you put the wax on the strip first (very thin layer), then press it down/smooth it out, THEN zip it up REALLY QUICK---hold it as close to the skin as possible when you're pulling it up (opp direction of the hair growth).
