That is probably one of the worst foods on the market. Don't let the fancy packaging and fancy commercials fool you into thinking that these foods are healthy for your pet. Read the ingredients, I say again READ the ingredients. If it doesn't have at least 2 meat sources as the main ingredients you're wasting your money and looking at some hefty vet bills down the road. Most of those dog foods are abundant in carbohydrates (cheap fillers), ie - corn, corn meal, wheat, rice, etc. Very little to no meat source. If you are willing to spend a bit more on food for your pet you can purchase a good quality kibble for about $25.00 to $40.00 depending on the size of the bag and the type of food. A fairly decent dog kibble I have been able to find that is priced reasonably is the Sam's brand of dog food (Exceed) that has 20% protein and 30% fat and is probably the only store bought dog food I can comfortably recommend at this time. It has two meats as the main ingredients. Breeder's Choice - Pinnacle is another good dog food, as is Innova Evo. Do your research and save yourself the headache of health problems in your pet as he ages. You will be saving yourself money in the long run and saving yourself the heartache of whether to treat or not because of the vet costs when he starts having health problems. Prevention is always better than the cure. Try to stay away from the cheap grocery store brands and ones that have a lot of corn and grains in them. Dogs are carnivores. They need meat. Cutting corners on the dog food will not benefit you or your dog in the long run.

We have been getting Kibbles N Bits for our dog. He eats it just fine. Has definitely put on a few pounds too. Now I notice it contains Propylene Glycol. Same as anti-free. There is a current video of lawsuit concerning Beneful making dogs ill. After watching the video on Facebook about some dog foods I will find another food somewhere. Have seen recent warnings about Blue Buffalo too. Nothing is really safe.

Kibbles and Bits dry food is not on the recall list. Before you consider feeding your dog this brand of food look at its ingredients they are not very good.

My dog loves kibbles and bits dog food. I was staying at a friends house and that is what they fed their dog, and she would get in it, so anyway long story short I switched her food since she loved it so much, but lo and behold she gained a lot of weight even though I fed her the same amount of food. So I took her to the vet and he said that dogs love kibbles and bits because it's high in sodium and high in fat! So we switched back to the beneful and in a few months she was back to her normal weight again.

Kibbles and bits and bits and bits, kibbles and bits and bits... I'd recommend Beneful, or Iam's , or Blue Buffalo if you have money. Sunshine chunks if you don't have money. They all have good amounts of protein in them. Or just feed your dogs raw meat, if you live where you can go out and kill something readily.

No Kibble and Bits taste great to dogs, but offers them little or no nutritive value and has a variety of harmful perservities and fillers that cause harmful side effects.

Check out these links, they are very informative about what is really in your dogs food and what stuff to look to avoid in your dogs food. It opened my eyes on this. Really because of this website and their information, the pet recall was no surprize..... I am glad these companies now have to act responsibly and be held accountable for their actions and greed.

Yeah, espically since kibbles and bits is mainly dry food if not only dry food, and they are only recalling the wet food. There was somekind of gluten that was harming the dogs. :(

Safe as far as the pet food recall, but full of preservatives and low-quality ingredients. Ick!
