How do you know that people think you are an environmentalist? Do they stop their cars, get out and say, "Why thank you for cleaning up the environment, you wonderful environmentalist!"?
And if so, why would that bother you? What's wrong with caring enough about our planet to keep it clean? Somehow I'm seeing that as a black mark on your name LOL
But if it really bothers you, why don't you wear a bright orange vest that says "Not an environmentalist" on the back?

because you dont normally see anyone but prisoners on the side of the road picking up trash and even tho there are others out there in the world that do care about earth and keeping it beautiful, the only ones that really act upon that are the enviornmentalists...

They do not realize that the people who threw it there aren't coming back to get it so someone has to do it. I was taught as a little girl to take a small bag for trash when taking a walk my grandma said we are just keeping our home clean
