I would correct the dogs myself by yelling quiet or making a loud noise every time they bark, the owner obviously doesn't care. You could ask the owner to get some bark collars for the dogs before involving the police.

First I would talk to the owners, politely. Explain that they need to keep the sound of their dogs down.

If the dogs barking goes past 10 or 11 pm, and after talking to them, the barking still doesn't stop, I would take more action. Call the police's non-emergancy line (NOT 911) (the number can be found in the phone book), and explain the situation. The owner's may be in violation of a sound ordinance law.

One of my neighbours has a "won't shut up" dog too! I have two, one barks in play but that is it, the other doesn't bark. He can, but he doesn't. I've told the neighbour about it and the reply was that it was her daughter's dog and is not at their house enough for them to impact the behaviour. Whatever! The stupid dog is there 3 - 4 times a week!

It barks if there is someone there, if it is alone and it's not a nice dog. It put gashes in my sister's dog's nose so deep that he needed stitches.

I've complained about it 3 times since I've been living here (7 weeks) to no avail.

Other than talking to the neighbour and making complains to the city or who ever is in charge of animal control I don't know what to tell you. But if you find something that works let me know.

I go out and yell at the dumb dog. The neighbour herself says nothing but I think I'm about to come to blows with the daughter who owns the dog. "Don't yell at my dog!" "Control your f$%^ing dog B^&%$" She says to me every time "He's a dog, you can't do anything about it"....

URGH! This doesn't help you much, but you're not alone! And I am a dog lover and owner!

I agree with reporting the neighbors. Trust me, they know darn well their dogs are barking unless they are totally deaf. The police will speak with them and you won't be involved so you won't have bad relations down the road. They will be warned to do something or else face a fine. When faced with a fee, people will take action. Also, try a dog whistle to distract them. It may stop their barking and it won't hurt them. Good luck with that!

And by the way, you have a right to live anywhere you want and to expect reasonable behaviour from your neighbors!!! I am so tired of avoiding certain streets just because irresponsible people in this town will not leash their vicious dogs.

Report it to Animal Control. Most places have nuisance noise laws. It is irresponsible of that owner, and rude. I have 5 dogs and live in a townhouse, and it DOES NOT sound like a kennel.

the recent neighbor canine are barking because of the fact they hear all the different community canine bark. in the event that they have a large style of canine they could be breaking county ordinance regulations. verify and notice what number canine consistent with family individuals individuals. Or call animal administration on them . quite now that your dad replaced into bit. It does not appear like they care approximately their animals.

ignore it.

If it's really a problem then I would suggest politely talking to them first.

Most of the time dogs don't bark at nothing (one of mine, does, though), so there could be a problem. Do they seem to treat their dogs well? If not or if talking to them doesn't help, try calling your local ASPCA to come handle the situation.

I would personally put a note on their car or somewhere they would notice and explain the situation and that if they do not do somthing that you would call animal control this way they know "someone" is having a problem but they dont know who .. so no hard feelings

You should call the cops on them. Those people should learn how to shut their dogs up.
