I've seen plenty of weddings that have junior bridesmaids without junior groomsmen, so I don't think it will be a problem the other way around. I saw the cutest thing in a bridal magazine that would be great if you are having an informal wedding. The two younger boys could be your ringbearers, and they could drive the flower girls down the aisle in those Tonka roadsters. the girls could toss their flowers out of the cars!!! The article I was reading said that this is effective for children who are shy about going down the aisle, because driving inside is a fun privaledge. ( the roadsters could also be the childrens attendants gifts)

Ha, I have you beat! I have 5 children, my fiance has 4. This is what I'm doing:
My kids
19 Daughter - Maid of Honor
16 Daughter - Junior Bridesmaid
15 Son - Usher (also reading a poem)
13 Son - Ring Bearer (a little old but he wanted to do it)
11 Daughter - Guest Book Attendant
His kids
16 Son - Junior Groomsman
14 Son - User
10 Daughter - Gift Attendant
7 Daughter - Flower Girl
To incorporate all of the children, he's marrying my kids and I'm marrying his. We'll have a ceremony where after we exchange our rings, he'll give each of my children a ring and promise to take care of them as one of his own and I'll give his children a ring and promise to take care of them as one of my own. All the rings will be the same gold band, with a family crest that we created imprinted underneath. We've started a tradition so that were ever they see that crest, they'll know it's family.
The thing is, you can use your children in the wedding any way you want. It's their day as well as yours. Good luck.

I have a similar situation. I have 2 young nieces of the ages 10 and 6 and my fiance` has a niece of 4 and 2 nephews of 10 and 8. I am having my youngest niece and his niece be flower girls. His two nephews will each carry a ring pillow with one ring on each and my oldest niece will be a junior bridesmaid. He doesn't have junior groomsmen but I think the setup of two flower girls and two ring bearers will look nice.

sounds nice but here's another option just for ideas:
the 11 year old is in the middle & holds hands/guides the 2 flower girls(since they're kinda young)
and the 2 boys carry a banner/sign saying here comes the bride or true love or some cute saying
or
the 11 year old carrys the ring and have one flower girl with one of the younger boys and the other flower girl with the other younger boy
so it could be a 'flower couple' instead of flower girl :P
hope it helps just for ideas! God Bless.

To even it out - move a flower girl to a junior bridesmaid. Have the one flower girl, the escort, a junior groomsmen, and a junior brides maid.
I think either way would work well though!
Have fun and congrats!

I am going to have my son, who will be 13 next month walk me down the aisle. Since i've been married before it seemed a really sweet thing to do. my sister had her son do it when she was remarried.
My 11 year old daughter will be my junior bridesmaid and my finance's two daughter be flower girls.....
I think what you have planned w/them is really nice. i think they would be proud to carry out those "duties". kids in weddings are always soooo cute!

It sounds great just the way you have it. I would recommend setting up a plan for the younger ones so they don't have to stand up at the front the whole ceremony. (like going back and sitting with grandma, or the very front pew having a place set aside for them to sit down). My 11 year old son is also going to usher, and he will be 'escorting' the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom up to their seats.
P.S. - sounds like you'all are going to have some fun blending that family together! Enjoy!

Sounds to me like you have everything under control.
The only thing I suggest is have someone waiting at the end of the aisle for the younger kids. If they have to stand for the whole ceremony they will soon start to fidget.

that sounds good, or since you have two flower girls have two ring bearers. This is how I had my wedding, I had two of the nieces as flower girls and we had two of the nephews as ring bearers.
