What you are describing is vertigo. If you look it up you will find alot of info on it. When the person is spinning it is called subjective I believe and when the room is spinning it is called objective, but look it up to be sure. I have experienced the objective kind only once in my life about two weeks ago at the gym. It scared the **** out of me. Then I got and still have the worst sinus infection I've ever had. Don't know if one has anything to do with the other. It has alot to do with inner ear. Good luck to you.

i am guessing it has to do with where in the brain/ears the problem is. For instance I get up and fall down sometimes because I have Meiner's Disease (it is an unbalance of fluid in the ear), others are "misfirings" in the brain and are more neurological. I would tlak with a doctor.

Yes, there is a type of stroke that happens due to a blockage in a blood vessel, which is how heart attacks happen (in fact a heart attack can also be referred to as a "heart stroke"). The primary difference is that a heart attack happens in the heart and the stroke happens in the brain. A stroke can also happen due to bleeding in the brain (known as a hemorrhagic stroke). Basically a stroke is the death of brain cells due to either a blockage (like a blood clot) or bleeding. A heart attack is the death of heart muscle due to a blockage. hope this helps.
