I totally agree with you - people should not be so childish when answering questions here. Some people just write anything so they can get points for "answering" questions.

I agree with your need for the respect, and also the maturity you deserve, in the gain of receiving answers to your questions here.
I also agree with your opinion that if you plainly show intentions of receiving such unbiased answers towards your questions by the way you ask people to respond to such questions, you should with some normal expectations receive such.
If you have politely asked for, in a serious manner for this unbiased and thoughtful opinion or fact which may lead to the answering of your question, like the question I now try to answer here in post as to you wishes, I feel that a clear and understandable answer to a possibly serious, personal need-to-know question you may have need or wish to know, shuld be considered due to you, understandably.
But realize noone is paid for such types of responses I described above and that you desire here.
So, go make me a sandwich, turn on the TV to Charmed and slowly walk away until I need something else.
Thanks

It's fairly obvious to anyone who has spent some time on this site reading the questions and answers that there are some people who post things just to yank other people's chains, gross people out, or for entertainment. I think you have to just grow some skin and ignore those types of people.
The semi-anonymous nature of internet sites like this one encourages people to behave in ways they never would if their real identity was attached to what they posted. If you believe that "what goes around, comes around," then you can get some satisfication in believing that those who post mean-spirited, spiteful or immature things will eventually have their karma bite them in the rear end.
Deep breath now and just ignore the trolls and other nuisances. The people who behave like jerks and are proud of that are sad and sorry individuals. Don't cede this site to them by dropping out or giving them satisfaction. Best to ignore/report them.

lots of children do answer these questions. and yes a lot of adults act like children as well. just give the bad answers thumbs down, then you dont have to see them, consider only the good answers. its just the simple fact that some people are wise and some are ignorant.

It depends on the question. For a mature answer I'll give a mature answer. For a silly or insulting question, I'll either be flippant or smart-aleck. It's up to the questioner.

A lot of the people are children. They are young so they give young answers.

It just shows their lack of intelligence. Sometimes they are just joking too , but they should put in a :) to make that clear.
