No chance. There is a difference in what Rusty Wallace did and Ricky Rudd did. When Rudd quit, he wasn't retiring. He said he was taking a break and that he would be back after some time off. Rusty has retired and will not return. If you want to see a Wallace race, you could watch Kenny in the NNC series this year or Steve in the Busch series.

No, Rusty is under contract w/ ESPN for the next 3 1/2 years. I don't think he wants to either. His career, Unlike Rudd's included a Winston Cup Trophy. Why would Rusty want to go back and trash his career by stinking up the field? I mean, Dont get me wrong. He is one of the best of all time. But what car would he run?! He can't get his #2 back, and the way Busch and that team has been running I wouldn't want to be back in that car anyway. I mean, If you put him in a crappy car, with a crappy team which would be his only choice.. He would STINK IT UP.. Stay in the booth Rusty!

enable me only say first that it became a huge injustice to Rusty's large attractiveness in NASCAR to positioned the style of little pipsqueak (Kurt Busch) is his #2! i became so disenchanted to study that Penske Racing cared so little about Rusty. they could have positioned a rookie mutually with Dave Ragan or someone in his vehicle, yet why did they %. the neckless ask your self? Oh, am I offending the Kurt Busch followers, all 2 of them? Now on to the question...Rusty has a Busch sequence crew. He owns his son Steven's vehicle as well as his brother Kenny's. there is not any thanks to understand if he ever plans to run interior the Nextel Cup or no longer, yet i imagine that he's satisfied the position he's now.

If he does to quote the Great Lord Vader "You should not have returned old man"
By the way his couldn't drive a ice cream truck, never mind a Nextel Cup car

I think it will be a very cold day when Rusty gets back into driving a Cup car. I would've thought for sure he'd run some Busch or truck races somewhere, but when he retired, he really retired from driving. It would be fun to see him run some races once in a while.
