You could do that -- but as a RAM drive resides in your computer's memory, not on your hard drive like normal, it would use much of your memory for the RAM drive. Your computer would crawl, and probably crash.

The reason for having temporary files is to get them out of your RAM memory. So putting them into a RAM drive kind of defeats the purpose of having them to begin with....

Plus a RAMdrive of only 4096 isn't going to hold enought to be worth it.
