Some people are just very sentimental. They want to keep every memory they can... even if it's from an ex.
It's just something to look back on and smile about.
Wouldn't you want to keep love notes from a first love if you had the chance?

When my wife and I were dating we both kept our personal emails in a separate account. It was a sentimental thing. It also helped organize my thoughts when returning an email to her. I could read what we had said previously and build on that without repeating myself or going over sensitive ground again. I'm sure she is just keeping your email in a special place, separate from her daily, mundane regular stuff. People used to keep love letters for years. My mom still has the letters my dad sent from the war. I think it's kind of cool.

I keep all the emails my boyfriend sends me in a separate folder too. Theyre nice to look at sometimes - especially if you guys get into an argument or something - just to know how you really feel,ya know?
Why does this bother you? Do you feel as if it's a sign that she's too into you or something? And if so, why would you date her?

It doesn't mean too much - I'd say it just means that she wants to be able to reminisce about the good times you had together, and wants all that stuff lumped together to make it easier to find.
There's something else it sounds like you're not considering: if she has all of your correspondence in one location, it's easier to dispose of if/ when she no longer wants to keep it!

She is saving the emails so she can hold things against you (black mail you) !!!!!!!!!!!! Becuase you wont rememeber everything that you said, and she will have it documented... BEWARE... My ex-girlfriend did the same thing before she accused me of cheating on her, she twisted my words before... It sucks, so break up with her before she does it to you.

I do that myself with my boyfriend and there is nothing wrong with it, all it means is that she cares for you and wants to keep the things you send her. my boyfriend does the same thing back to me. It just means that we love each other.
Also if it is an ex then why are you still e-mailing her anyway

She guards them specially to prevent them being deleted with spam. She wants an easy way to go back, reading them and savouring them.

I used to do that, I would do that so that I would remember if a topic ever came up before. What does it matter if she keeps them or not?
