Technically it is illegal.
Usually the cops will have a laugh at your expense then tell you to get a room.

Depends on the jurisdiction where these acts are committed, but in the U.S. generally, yes, that would be a crime.
There are many different labels and categories for what you term "CARSEX." "Public Indecency" or "Lewd and Lascivious Conduct" to name a couple. Punishment will vary widely, from a ticket and a fine (or maybe community service) on the low end, on up to felony incarceration at the very, very top.
HOWEVER, regardless of what the potential penalty might be, a conviction - even for a seemingly innocuous offense like "Public Indecency" - can have very serious consequences. It will depend on state law, but you COULD wind up in the sex offender database . . . which is, to say the least, a bad thing.
My advice: get a room.

Having sex in public is a crime. You will probably get charged with commiting a lewd act in public and maybe indecent exposure. Both are misdemeanors and you will more than likely be fined, though depending on your past and with whom you were caught having sex, you could get community service or a very small sentence in the local jail (less than 30 days). Even if you are on private property and the act can be seen by someone on another property, you could be charged.
If a child sees you, you could be charged with harassing a minor as well.

Technically yes. It is called indecent exposure, and public nudity. You are not allowed to be inpublic doing obsene things. Now if you were in your car in your garage no. If your gonna do it, dont do it durring broad daylight in a busy parking lot, unless that gets you rgoing, lol. Do it at night in an empty one or a dead end street!!

Been inspected by a police officer while screwing in the car. We were informed that he was "checking the car for drugs"
Yep. Little honda car, all steamed up, in the middle of nowhere, and you're thinking drugs. You must have been first in your class at the academy.

I believe it would fall under indecent exposure. But, I think that most cops once they've determined that no one is under age and that it's all consensual, will just ask you to leave. Assuming that it's the first time they catch you and that their not in a bad mood...

If it is on private property, it is legal.
If you are parked in a public place, you are looking at an indecent exposure charge.

if the car is in a public place, then sex inside the car is in a public place, which makes it a crime.
the price in return is you get to go to prison, and get a lot of sex that you probably don't want.
