ok i like this guy that rides my bus and his friend use to be my boyfriend but then we broke up because my friend and i hated each other (i know your thinkin whats that got to do with what im talkin about)for a while we broke up because my friends boyfriend was like friends with my bf a so when me and my friend hated each other he broke up with me but then my friend and i started hangin out again and told me that the guy i am totally crushin on likes me but how can i believe her when we didnt like eachother for a while i no i could ask my crush if that was true but if he says no that would be so embarrassing what do i do???

It is worth the embarrassment to find out the truth. Just say to him my friend told me something and I think shes making it up...then tell him what she told you. If he says no, just say to him how cruel people can be sometimes to make up things and cause other people to feel embarrassed. He will probably agree with you. Then say see "sorry I bothered you with my friends cruel joke".
If your friend did lie then you know she is not your friend.

Do you REALLY like the other guy? If you do, then try and figure out for yourself what he thinks by paying attention to him. And it depends on your friend. If she got really angry with you (I'm not completely sure what the situation was... It was pretty confusing but it sounds like it was pretty messy in the first place) and it hasn't been a while since the whole fallout, then I would not NOT trust her, but I just wouldn't take her up on it right away. Actually, I wouldn't really take ANYONE up on it right away, because you NEVER know what other people's intentions are when they tell you things like that. If she knows that guy likes you because he told her, then the guy needs to be braver and just tell you himself. And if he DIDN'T tell her, then how does she know that? Just don't be impulsive... Think things out before you act on something like this because it can make things awkward for a long time. :)

well dont just come out and ask him - he'll probably be a little scared! just take tim eto get to know him. maybe sit next to him one day on the bus and say hi. i dont know what your friend would gain by lying to you about it, especially if you're too shy to talk to him anyway. dont listen to other people coz they'll end up changing your perceptions of how the situation really is.

sorry honey, but you've got to take a chance. if you don't want to risk it all for it, you don't want it enough, that's what I live by. ask the guy, if he doesn't, he isn't, he isn't worth it anyway. take a chance or you'll always wonder what could've happened. good luck!

i'm always in a fight with one of my friends but when we're back together we're so honest with eachother because we don't want to get into another fight. so you should trust her. but trust your instincts too. don't always listen to everyone else.
