How do you find out how many points you are alloted in a day? Is it online somewhere, or do you have to go to the meetings?

you do have to pay in order to get the information - either at meetings or online.

but i just happen to have my book with me - it's a calculation now - so you just need to figure it out for yourself!!

male - 8 pts
female - 2 pts

age:
17-26 - 4 pts
27-37 - 3 pts
38-47 - 2 pts
48-58 - 1 pt
over 58 - 0 pts

use the first 2 digits of your weight - for example - if you weigh 175 then use 17 pts

if you spend most of your day:
sitting down - 0 pts
occasionaly sitting but mostly standing - 1 pt
walking most of the time - 2 pts
doing physical work most of the time - 3 pts

add all your number up and you get your daily points allowance! :)

funibair has it correct, but weight watchers is best if you go to the meetings or use the online tools.... i do both... the meetings kinda help keep you on track until you can do it alone i guess.... I guess I feel guilty about cheating if I know I don't have a goal each week - weighing in....
basically your points depend on your activity level, height, gender, and so on....
you are allocated 35 flexible points per week also which you can do with as you please... eat it or not.... you can eat it in one day or spread it in a week.... but there is more to weight watchers than points!

You can attend a meeting, at the meeting they will weigh you and figure out your points or you could go to their website and look on there. The points is figured on how tall you are and how much you weigh

the points go by how much you weigh. i dont think they have that on the website. at least they didnt when i did it. but they may now. you can try calling them to see if they will tell you. but you most probably have to go to the meeting at least one time to get the book with the information in it. at the time when i did it i weighed 180 and my points that i was allowed was 26 a day.

Invest in the book. I hear it's really easy to learn the point system. This diet is sensible and it works. It should change the way you eat for the rest of your life. Drink lots of water. Good luck!

Of course you have to go to meetings, and you have to pay to attend them.
