i jus found out that i am pregnant. my bf of three years jus left for iraq for 18 months. He doesnt know that i'm pregnant....how do i tell him???

I have the cutest idea.....My mom told me this story.....At the beginning of thi s war with Iraq, a woman had found out that she was pregnant. But unfortunally, her husband was over seas fighting in Iraq. She didn't know how to tell him, and she didn't want to make him stressed while he was fighting, so she went to build a bear and had her baby's heart beat recorded into the little sound box. (obviously at the doctors office, during an ultrasound) Then she went back and made a bear, and had the little box put in it's hand. Then she dresssed it up in a baby one - zee the color of the sex of her baby. Then she sent it over. then husband called her in tears so excited that he could hear the babys heartbeat,(which he showed to all of his buddies) and he said that he listened to it every night. I think that this is such a sweet way that you could tell him, and he would be so suprised. I am so sure that he would Love it and cherish it every day of his life. My mom also told me that every day he is away and cannot hear the baby's heartbeat, he would LOVE to have such a great oppturnity. It's like having his baby by his side, it will give him pride, and the strength to fight and come home.....GOOD LUCK......You can email me for more info.....I would be more than happy to help!!!! If you both have a webcam it's as close as you are going to get to telling him face to face.
Otherwise you're going to have to tell him over the phone... I don't know if it's a good idea to tell him through an email or letter since you want to hear his reaction.
