I have a few questions for you. I hope you're up to the task. If Jesus sacrificed himself for all of mankinds sin wouldn't that mean that he sacrificed himself for the sins of Adam and Eve? If so why is the concept of original sin still being taught? Also where did the concept of hell come from. Basically what changed? Why inJudaism is hell the grave but Jesus says a place of teeth gnashng and gnawing? Also in Judaism Satan is mentioned maybe once in the whole old testament but in the new testament he is mentioned quite a bit Why is that it's as if he has been made some kind of god in your religion. If he isn't powerful then why fear him? Also how did the concept of the trinity come about? In scriptures the three aspects are different aren't they? Also logically speaking normally 1+1+1 equals 3 not 1 like in this particular case. Also if Jesus is god then why did he need to get baptized in order to inherit the kingdom of heaven? Well people asked for a serious question so here you go.

I want to try. Forgive me if this is too long.

Yes, sacrificed for all sins, even Adam and Eves. Original SIn is still taught, because you cant recieve the sacrifice unless you accept it, so there is still sin until it is "washed" through acceptance of the sacrifice. Hell came from the Book of Revelations, where we are taught about the "Lake of Fire", Hell itself is not a biblical concept the way people teach it now. Satan is not made out to be some kind of God in my religion, nor a threat. We are taught if we have God, Satan can not harm us, we should not be afraid of Satan, he has no hold on us. Fear of God doesnt mean scared, it means reverance, respect for his power, not to be afriad. Trinity came about in the book of John, there are three that bear witness in Heaven, God, the Son and the Holy Ghost, these three are one. And yes 1+1+1 equals three, BUT 1/3+1/3+1/3=1 right. Each is a part of the whole, like a pie. He did not get baptized because he needed it, it was a lesson, an example of what we are to do.

Whew, there ya go.

"If Jesus sacrificed himself for all of mankinds sin wouldn't that mean that he sacrificed himself for the sins of Adam and Eve? "
Yes. Even for Adam and Eve.

"If so why is the concept of original sin still being taught?"
Because the power of God is greater than the sin nature that we have. I think that I know what you mean, but I think that you are missing the point. We are all still sinners, we are just either saved sinners or unsaved sinners. The claiming of the payment for sins is what a person does to become saved. Without claiming the belief in God-- ie. the act of faith, the payment does not apply. Adma and Eve were in faith, they knew God, but disobeyed Him. So they could not deny God afterwards, after having met Him. So they knew God better, after having been with Him. So faith in God was such a mystery to them.

"Also where did the concept of hell come from."
It came out of the Old Testament. I know that goes completey against the current debate on the internet, but that tells me how unscholarly those on the internet tend to be. If you study the Hebrew word 'sheol' you will find that it holds the key to the typical Judeo Christian view of Hell.

One source I will simbit to you is Vine's Expository Dictionary, page 227.

One of the problems that people here on the internet have is in applying only one meaning to a word. I find they do it consistently. There are two main meanings for 'sheol'. One meaning the 'state of death'. The other is ' a place of conscious existence after death'.

"Basically what changed?"
I really think that the internet is a mixed blessing. It causes people to discuss with eachother on subjects that they couldn't normally do as often before. But the underlying mentality of those conversations lack learned responses. So it's up to those that know more to flavor the conversations with better information, which is something that I hope that I am doing here wherever I can.

"Why inJudaism is hell the grave but Jesus says a place of teeth gnashng and gnawing?"
I think that you have a better chance of understanding now. You have the first meaning and the second meaning. I would point to the idea that the first meaning is leaning on the world's view of death, while the second meaning that I stated before is pointing to the spiritual meaning of the word.

" Also in Judaism Satan is mentioned maybe once in the whole old testament but in the new testament he is mentioned quite a bit Why is that it's as if he has been made some kind of god in your religion."
Well, he's actually mention more than once in the Old Testament, according to my source it's 24 times. Satan also means 'adversary'. And sometimes it's translated 'adversary', so you probably are missing it.

Well I wouldn't call Satan a god, rather I would call him the one who's going to get his comeuppance. He was more powerful than he is now. Jesus saw to that at the resurrection.

"If he isn't powerful then why fear him?"
Have you ever witnessed a demon? They are more powerful than any human. Without God, they can screw us up bigtime. But the Christian has a remarkable ability-- to call on his God for God's power. God's power can remove them from harming us. So it's then better to fear God, because He's the one who has the most power.

"Also how did the concept of the trinity come about?"
I have to be honest; I get that by reading the Bible. It's axiomatically reasoned, though still quite incapable of enveloping the truth about God's nature. I thik of it as a poetic attempt to describe the nature of God.

So your following questions about math and all that, it's not currently available for men to grasp the concept. People with a grasp of ancient laguage and highly credentialed have debated the nature of God for centuries. Believe me, it gets deep. It defies Aristoltilian thinking.

"Also if Jesus is god then why did he need to get baptized in order to inherit the kingdom of heaven? "
I don't know really. It could be that he 'needed' to be baptised in order to inherit the kingdom of heaven, but it is notable that ritual 'purification' by water, ie, being baptised, was a Jewish ritual. So it was not so strange that a Jew would be baptised, they had built in some homes and other places baptismal pools that were for that very reason, used.

Perhaps that could be a question asked here; Where in the Bible does it say that baptism was a part of the Law of Moses?

So umm like the answer is Yes.
Seal of O, this is too many questions at once.
But your first one is a terrific question on which I have been meditating for a bit and while I cannot give what I think is a sufficient answer for the original sin part, I can tell you that the conclusion I am coming to is that Jesus's sacrifice on the cross does cross the "barriers" of time and is in fact retroactive.
How bout them apples?

It was for all mankind, not just Adam and Eve.Judaism is based on the Talmud, and has nothing to do with Christianity.Hell is not the Lake of Fire. The Trinity is taught throughout the old and new testaments.

Yes, He sacrificed Himself for the sins of every person even Adam and Eve.

Original sin still exists. We are born in sin until we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior.

Hell was created for Satan and the fallen angels. God is still letting Satan rule this world. We just don't have to die in sin any more since Jesus took the penalty of sin away at the cross for those who believe. Until Jesus went to the cross we were all dead in sin with no hope of eternal life. Adam and Eve lost that for us when they disobeyed God and brought sin into the world. God told Adam if they ate of the tree they would die. We had eternal life. Adam and Eve lost it for us and brought sin into the world. Satan told Eve and deceived her, "you will not surely die."

Jesus spoke more about hell than anyone, because Jesus created hell for Satan & his fallen angels. He mentioned the fires of hell and weeping and gnashing of teeth.

In the Book of Job Satan is called the accuser of the brethren that accuses us before God day and night. The Book of Job shows us how Satan is able to tempt humans but without the permission from God, he can't kill us. God dealt directly with the Jewish people and used the Jewish people as an example to the world of how He chose them and how they forgot Him and rejected God. The Jewish people were blessed by God for most of the Old Testament. Even Balak tried to curse the Jewish people but he couldn't because no man can curse the person that God has blessed. THINK ABOUT THAT AMERICA.

Satan is the great deceiver. Christians have victory over Satan, but most don't know how to use it. Satan's battlefield is in the mind and most Christians can't believe that they are saved and going to heaven. They still think they aren't good enough and Satan reminds them of all the bad things that they did. This keeps Christians as baby Christians who have no weapons for spiritual warfare against Satan.

The Trinity has always been in the Bible. The Father God, the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. All 3 were at creation. Jesus said "I was slain from the foundation of the world." Yes all 3 parts of the Godhead or Trinity are different.
You can't see God the Father, He is an all consuming fire and Spirit. If you see God you see Jesus Christ and if God lives in you He lives in you as the Holy Spirit. We can't put God into man's category. God doesn't fit.

Jesus wanted John the Baptist to baptize Him because Jesus said "to fulfill all righteousness." John knew he wasn't worthy to baptise Jesus, but Jesus wanted it done.

God tells us that His ways are higher than our ways. Just as much to tell us that we can't thoroughly understand God. But if we will trust Him, everything will be okay. God is in control.

they are not Jews because Jew's do not believe the messiah has come yet. they don't believe Jesus so believing in Jesus and asserting your Jewish obviously contradicts one yet another.... that is unhappy that there are those Evangelist Christians that call themselves "Jews". provide up this custom now, your disgracing both Judaism and Christianity.
