I compleatl agree! I too got my period back very early and I only BF my baby who is now 6.5 mos old. but I got mine back at 2 months postpartum! He wasborn 9/10 and I got my period back just before thanksgiving! Hows that for ya! I still only BF my baby and have just started introducing solids very slowly but i do find that my supply has gone down a little when i'm about to get my period.

If you look at the flip side, a good husband also has many responsibilities. My husband brings home 80% of our income. He has to put up with a long commute five days a week, a boring job, and LONG hours. I'm happy to take care of our house in exchange. Now, our first baby is due in two months, so things might change. My work load will more than double...but we are already discussing how the new, heavier work load at home can be more evenly distributed....Needless to say, I am blessed to have such a great husband...
And, about getting the awful period during breast feeding.... my doctor told me that every woman is different. She told me that I should count on getting my period back sometime after baby is born. What a bummer! Oh well. I'm enjoying my 9 month period break for now!

I got mine back about the same time (due with #2 in 2 weeks and hoping I go longer this time!) but what I did notice was after I got my period back it was more of an every other month thing instead of a monthly thing until we quit nursing, which was 18 months for us... so there's still hope! If I have to have a period I would rather have it every 60ish days instead of every 30ish days! Good luck! (BTW, just warning you, you can still get prego too!)

Are you breastfeeding on demand and exclusively. If you have your baby on a scheduled feeding then you are more likely to get your period back. On demand breastfeeding surpresses ovulation mostly every time. Scheduled feedings will not surpress every ovulation which can lead to you getting your period. Just to warn you it may be no where near normal. Like you may have it this month and not have it for another two months.
I didn't get may period back till my son was 8 months old.

people would desire to realize that there are a number of aspects that pass into determining climate to formula feed or breast feed. Breast feeding isn't for all people, and formula feeding isn't for all people. I breast fed AND formula fed- that would not make me a bad mom. people thumbs down solutions for dumb motives- it incredibly is one concern to do it while somebody is giving an ignorant answer or an incorrect answer (Which i've got observed happens lots) yet many people supply thumbs downs because of the fact they do no longer trust their viewpoint. they're only being idiots and you extremely can no longer take it in my view while somebody provides a thumbs down for an answer you supply. there is not any longer something which would be carried out to end it.

My daughter is two months old and I exclusively breast feed. Two days ago I was blessed with my period. I was also under the assumption that this didn't happen but it obviously does. You are not alone!!
