Why would anybody be ashamed of being Muslim? Not ALL of them are terrorist so they are not all extremist. My father is a Muslim and last I checked he wasn't ashamed or involved in terrorist plots. Get out more, meet new people, maybe even read the Q'uran (sp?) and you will see that only the extremist are crazy but the normal Muslims follow their religion which is based on peace.

YES YOU SHOULD!!!! Those who are ashamed of being Muslims do not belong to Islam. Anyone who acknowledges Islam correctly will not be ashamed, and will be proud and supportive of it. Only those with low self-esteem and those who arnt confident with there selves will have these kinds of feelings towards this wonderful religion. As for you we can obviously tell that you hate Muslims, theres only one thing i can tell you " GO TO HELL"!

Yes, because someone shouldn't be ashamed of their religion or ethnicity just because of a few (or a lot of) idiots who make the whole group look bad. Not all Muslims are terrorists, Islam is a peace loving religion. Can you say the same for yours?

Muslims shouldn't be ashamed of who they are, no-one has the ability to choose what race they belong to.
They can most definitely feel ashamed of the behavior of some of the people in their race. That is natural and right.
I am embarresed by the behavior of allot of white folks.

I would not be ashamed. There is a dark history and chain of events that show of a negative side to the muslim religion.
I would also not expose this feeling as not everyone is mature enough to take your feelings and respect them or create a positive dialogue.

The answer to your question is very simple. Feelings are neither right nor wrong. They just ARE. Feelings can change from one minute to the next. Never beat yourself up over a feeling. A negative feeling only becomes wrong if you act on it.

Yes, you should. I hope you are asking this question because you already know this, and not because you are seeking justification for taking such a narrow-minded view.
Now it is up to you do something to redress your ignorance.

why do you feel proud?
is it because the west seems to be at war with "seemingly dangerous terrorists".
gotta think about those things.
